I just measured the holder, it is 60" long and 4.5 inches I/D on my 21'. How does that compare to some of the smaller units?

Same ID but only 48 inches long. My adapter would fit but I would have to chop more off the hose length. Just putting it in the box now. I have a foot on each end left but I would need different brackets to mount it.

So your's is 1 foot shorter, interesting. I wonder if they cut them or order them? I plan to drill a couple of air holes on the bottom to allow any liquid to dissipate.

Installed the Andersen hitch today and while underneath the trailer I noted several green pieces of tape around the perimeter some have holes and some do not. I assume these are the holes that allow any condensation to drain out from the trunnions around the perimeter, but there were at least 2 or 3 that were not drilled out. Anyone else ever notice that on their Escape, regardless of model they all have the same construction. I'm thinking of drilling them all out? In addition, I can not find any low point drains on the E21, has anyone else found any?

I believe someone has posted that the 21 does not have a low point drain valve. For winterization the water system has to be blown out. There are some valves behind the step but not for drainage.

Ya - that's what Reace told me when he did our orientation, but at the Spring NOG, I noticed RickM's 21 has them under the stair... (mine doesn't) ...

In order to blow out, it is best to have a low point drain, otherwise your blow out is uphill and can have liquid in the column.

I checked under my 21 and see the green tape, four on each side and all of them are drilled.

What about the front and rear, I have one each centered, undrilled and my front on each side is undrilled, total of 10 locales, 6 drilled.

My trailer is full of undrilled holes.....they are everywhere. There are literally thousands of them, though probably still less than baglo's.

Hi: cpaharley2008... As long as the holes drilled are at the low spots...why drill 'em up hill from there? Alf

Jim, I asked Reace about the green tape, some drilled and some not, and he said that the appropriate number of holes were drilled. Drilling all the green tape wasn't necessary. I also asked about the two "low point drains" behind my steps. Reace told me to ignore them, so I am.

OK, I did a recount. I have 10 drilled holes, four on the drivers side, four on the right, one up front and one in the back plus one undrilled on the right.

How do you know a hole is undrilled? How do you know it was supposed to be a hole? Could the tape signify something else?
Maybe the tape is just what it is. Maybe it was born that way.

I believe the tape is located to mark where the hole is supposed to be drilled around the perimeter. I had it on both Escapes.

Hi: cpaharley2008... My guess is that we're lucky it's green tape, and not "Red tape" . Alf
