Question Flush King

I am purchasing a Valterra Flush King for use with my 17B to be. I thought I read somewhere on this forum that owners of the Escape 19 found it helpful/necessary to add a 45/90 (?) degree clear extension to the black water outlet prior to attaching the Flush King because of the tire placement on the 19. I'm wondering if the added extension for the Flush King would be necessary given the tire placement on the 17? If this sounds familiar to anyone, I sure would appreciate your input.

Thank you!

I use a flush king on my 2006 17B with no adaptor needed.
