For those with hearing impairment.....

I found this to be useful with my bluetooth speaker placed on the table closer and in front of me in order to listen to the tv that is farther away. Works like a charm...

We use a similar device, but a transmitter, not a receiver, with our stereo to have a table speaker with volume control on the speaker. Keeps from bothering the neighbors. The stereo also has a USB port which charges the unit while playing.

Know what, you are correct Charlie, I posted the wrong item, I have a transmitter that looks exactly like this receiver but it broadcasts from the tv to the speaker, I'll have to do some further research and post that link, now where are my glasses....??

So Jim, You plug that into the Audio OUT of your television and it transmits to your blue tooth speaker?

Thanks Jim, We've got the very TaoTronics transmitter you use, as well as the Bose speaker. We were trying to use it with Debbie's I-Phone to our non-blue tooth stereo system. Yikes! We will now use the transmitter with the tv.

This does not work at line level outputs - the level is too low, but works OK on headphone output levels. I was hoping it would provide a way to link my auto radio to my bluetooth speaker (the auto radio does not have an earphone out, but does have line level outs designed to drive an add on amp.

New technology

This is exactly why we did not get any stereo or TV options on our 19. By the time we start using it heavily in 9 or 10 years, who knows what the technology will be.

I totally agree. We go FT in 5 years and weren't expecting our trailer purchase, but then that Exchange rate came along. Then we were only going to pre-wire for solar because who knows what the technology will be in 5 years, but then the Exchange rate kept going in our favor while we were waiting so solar went in.
I'm finding I'm becoming more adverse to cutting holes in this shiny new trailer after years of cutting holes in Scamps and older trailers, so I like these wireless thingies. The wireless fridge thermometer begs to be mounted, but I found that the mount hinge on the back slides right down behind the backsplash in the kitchen and no screws or holes required. 3M command strips and Quake gel are changin my world.

I removed a battery-powered light that I'd installed in a cupboard with self-adhesive Velcro. The Velcro adhesive removed the 'oak' finish. Good thing it's in a dark cupboard.
3M Command can be removed without damage, if you read and follow the instructions.
