Graphics..newby question
As one who is in the excitement of waiting (May--sigh)..but could still probalby change my mind if I asked nicely.....
I'd be interested to hear what colour people chose for graphics and why. Tammy said there has been almost everything but I haven't seen a lot of trailers.
What others have you seen that looked good--given that I need to remember that not every Escape owner is as obsessed as us forum members..... My TV is black, if you care to offer an opinion considering that.
This sounds like a junior high "paragraph answer" question...no marks will be given, but bonus points might be awarded for the best answers.

Re: Graphics..newby question
Hokie Escape is named after the Va Tech Hokies, who's colors are Orange and Maroon (though after starting out 0-2 this year, they've changed their color to "wet-eyed red"). So, I sent Tammy a Hokie Maroon shirt, and she matched it. She can match up about anything that suits your fancy.

Re: Graphics..newby question
I would definitely not choose something that matches the tow vehicle, unless it is something you know you will like beyond owning the tow, as the Escape will likely outlast a few tows over it's time.

Hi: hermit... And WELCOME!!! I know by your forum name you must like your privacy...but when owing an Escape you best get used to lots of lookers.
There is also a new member with a black tug and black graphics Bob120 and you can view his set up on the Rallies, Get Togethers...etc, section of the forum under Niagara Wine Escape 2010. Thanks to another member here Jon Vermilye for taking the pic's. Alf

Re: Graphics..newby question
The trailer graphics are only vinyl stickers and can be changed with a bit of patience and a bottle of Goo Gone.

I love matching-to-tug graphics. Thanks to Reace and Tammy for doing this for new trailer owners. I saw Dayna's 5th wheel and yellow matching graphics to her Dodge p/u at the Oregon Gathering this year... sweet!
I think the standard graphics are maroon. If you have a green truck and buy the standard graphics and then sell the green truck and buy a black truck, the graphics aren't going to match any better than if you buy an Escape with black graphics to match a black truck and then sell the black truck and buy a green truck.
What difference does it make Jim? At least to start everything matches. And as J Mac says, they're only vinyl and can be changed.

Re: Graphics..newby question
Has anyone had Tammy and Reace do a customized graphic? As in ... we're thinking about names for our Escape, and in contention are Filbert, Hazelnut, Walnut, and Acorn. Depending on what we choose we're thinking it'd be really fun to have a little image of the winning nut somewhere ...
I know we probably could get one made up at one of the office copy joints, just curious if anyone's had Escape do it.

E, I think Tammy had the lettering for Gerda's Cafe Egg name made for her.

Re: Graphics..newby question
Finally I ran across this thread... Yes, Tammy indeed made my custom choice lettering for Cafe Egg. I chose the font using Microsoft Word and pretty much told Tammy which font I wanted! Turned out really nice! People keep commenting on the nice lettering suiting the name so well, hehe! Here a pic from this weekend's Halloween camping in Montello WI...

What I really want to know is where the scarecrow slept.
Gerda, I'll email you offline, hoping to plan a trip your way sometime this month or next.
