hanging your laundry
Anybody have ideas for hanging wet laundry? Every gismo I see hooks onto an RV ladder.
Just wondering what most folks do?

You can purchase a retractable line for your bath area, like this

I put a short removable curtain rod up in the shower over the toilet for wet rain gear and such. Have seen clothes racks that hook in the trailers bike receiver.
Here's one for the bumper, might be what I thought was in the receiver.

Mounted one on my Scamp, used it for years. Now have another one I need to put on Ten Forward. The poles will be stored in the front hatch.

We can not do that anymore, Jim. Now it will draped over the chairs for us.

If our truck is parked in front of the trailer we just run a line from the upper awning bracket over to the truck roof rack.
Our most used method is using a lightweight aluminum pole with guy ropes. It avoids tying a clothes line to trees etc. in parks where it is sometimes frowned on. It allows us to put the line in the best area for sun and breeze and the laundry is out of the way.

I use a telescopic shower rod (tension) in the winter and place it above the front dinette/bed between the two overhead cabinets. In the summer I just hang towels and such on suction hooks on the outside of the trailer. Edited: When not in use, the shower rod stores easily and conveniently in the forward shallow shelf.

I've used the springy rods like Karen showed, with items on hangers; however, the rod can slip. We currently have a chromed aluminum closet rod between brackets, placed the same way; it lifts out when not being used.

Hi Ron in BC,
Got sidetracked by your camp location. Is that Mexico?

Yes, it can plus I don't want to tighten the rod so much that it will damage the woodwork; hence, I place it above the wood trim on the doors as shown...no slippage or falling down.

I just ran some light rope from a hidden eye bolt inside the cabinets. Not the greatest but good enough for light use.
