Their cousins must live in Grand Forks, ND because they also were setting off mostly loud firecrackers to 1:30 am.

Before that was spectacular. Parked beside a corn field and able to see for miles and miles. Dozens of fireworks displays visible all round. And overhead a huge electrical storm, with the clouds lit up by lightening, that may the fireworks look puny. Mother Nature really is a powerful force.

Yep. I could drill a hole in a lensboard and put it in the front of the camera, and that's exactly what I'd have. I'll have to try it sometime.

Come to think of it, all lenses flip the image as splashed on the film, real or wafer "film".
Just hit me, I've been using a box camera last 60 years!

Only your camera does not flip it back upright.
