Happy Thanksgiving

Wishing everyone and their families a Happy Thanksgiving! If you're our neighbors to the North I say celebrate with a big dinner anyway.....

We don't need a reason to do that.

Happy Thanksgiving to our Southern neighbors. Don't buy too big a turkey because you might still be eating leftovers when Xmas rolls around.

Yea, that is what I just finished here at Gilbert Ray County Park in Tucson. I do a "Thanksgiving in July" dinner at home because I'm usually on the road at the normal Thanksgiving (US or Canada) time. So, frozen leftovers - still a great meal, although unfortunately, the last in the freezer.

Happy Thanksgiving from me to all our US members. It's okay Canadian members, you can eat turkey again if you wish

Every day is a good day to give thanks.

Didn't need to buy one this year. A wild one just wandered into our house.

Discovered the one down-side to a potluck Thanksgiving - no turkey leftovers or carcass for soup!

You're lucky if you can do that. Around here we have a huge surplus of geese and rabbits. Let's just say it'd create widespread horror if it was suggested that they be used a food source. An Australian friend, who can nail a rabbit from an incredible distance only rolled his eyes when I told him how they attempt to deal with our problem rabbits. Re-home them. I say rabbit stew is a better idea.

The only way you can come out on that deal is to provide the turkey, carve it at home, keep some back and keep the fuselage. Otherwise make two turkeys.
