Happy Thanksgiving to the American contingent. I wonder how many people have taken their Escapes for a Thanksgiving camp out. We have not. We from the north are winterized. Maybe you Southerners are out. Or Westerners.

Thanks Cathy. We have too many relatives in town for the feast to go camping this week, but we're headed to Matagorda for the Rally starting next Wednesday.

We are actually in Texas but the Escape is in Iowa. You can be in Texas and be very far from Matagorda. Wish we were going.

I'm in Orlando visiting relatives for Thanksgiving, but I left the trailer at home this time. It was in the 80s here today, but it was freezing at my house when I left Tuesday morning. I'll bring the trailer when I come back down in February.

I thought that you would be out in your Escape for sure! Yes, it even freezes in Florida and Texas.

I did! I'm camping outside my daughter's home in Humboldt County (N. California). Enjoying a break from the five grandkids and vegging in the trailer watching Big Bang right now.

I don't get to see them that often so it is nice to be here, but right now everyone has colds and after a long day they are a little cranky. And they gave me the cold. So I really appreciate having a retreat.

Going out tomorrow for a "male only" campout weekend at local SP. Two other friends and myself will spend the time around the campfire telling tall tales while drinking short ones, eating leftovers and enjoying the fall weather.

We also had a great Thanksgiving parked in our son's driveway in Kenmore WA. Enjoyed our family and the grandkids! We don't plan to winterize for awhile since we bought an off-season WA state parks pass. $10 a night for hookups...you can't beat that!
