Hatch measurement question

Hoping someone with a 19' could tell me the dimensions of the outside hatch that accesses the storage area under the bed? (Ours is in a tight carport and I can't reach it to measure).

The hatch door measures 9.5"x23", the opening is a bit smaller, maybe 9x22
