Headed to Chilliwack

Greetings from SKP Sutherlin OR. Haven't been on for a while. Since Chris and I are really enjoying our 19, and plan on keeping it a long time, we are enroute to Chilliwack to have some improvements and repairs done.

We are pleased to be adding a bathroom window, and a new bathroom vent with a fan! The vent will be replacing the original flip up vent which leaks.

Additionally we will be having the formica re-glued/replaced around the screen door frame as it has delaminated. Perhaps they are using better glue now.

Then there is the frame recall so we might as well have that done while we are there, and a few other minor issues.

Does anyone know if they offer a galley window that opens? We have a non opening one. If so, is there a much improvement in airflow with it open when the door is closed?

Cheers!

(It looks like I should have posted this in Mods and Alterations but do not seem to be able to delete it or move it)

Dan, I got this information of the ETI website, under 19' options:

Opening Window in Kitchen Over Sink (Non-Thermal) $250.00

See you in a few weeks!

Safe travels, always.

As Donna pointed out, there is one available. I found in our 19 that we had more than enough air flow inside without having a venting one over the galley, but others seem to like it.

Yes it is a much welcome addition for us! This was not offered when we purchased in '12 but added one two summers ago-would not be without one now. Plus it is the style of window that can be left open when it is raining.

I agree. It's pretty much always open at least a little - unless it's a blistering hot day and we are running the AC.

Hi Dan and Chris. We pick up our 21 7/11, see you there maybe? I got a tip on a great poutine joint!

We did end up with the opening galley window. Well worth having. The trip was 46 nights and we missed the miserable July weather in Sacramento.

Been home a few weeks.

Cheers Everyone.
