Smart. No one knows at this point when they'll be available again to order one. Almost impossible to get one of these used. Congratulations on ur order, it will go faster than you think.

Greg, it wont be impossible at all once the current batch of new 19 owners catches two-foot-itis. Seems to happen in bunches.

LOL, ur probably right Robert. Main reason I don't look at the 21 or 5.0TA trailers on the website any longer.
Also, used prices may sky rocket and tempt some folks to sell.

Upgrade to the 6.7 frig. The 4.3 frig does not cool adequately even with extensive modififications.

We just spent 3 weeks on our return trip to Texas with our new 4.3 fridge and it worked well. Outside temps in the low/mid 90s several days and no problems running it on 120v in camp and 12v on the road. The size worked well for two of us and the freezer kept my ice frozen for the nightly "adult beverage".

Hi mike. One observation I have made in my old age is that if you look forward a year, it seems like a long time but if you look back, you wonder where in the heck did the time go. Get busy on the build sheet and you will be in your new trailer before you know it. Loren

Congrats on your new trailer. I am working on my build sheet at this time also. Lots of nice folks on this site that will help answer your questions. Good luck. What are you going to tow it with?

will the 6.7 run on 12 volt when you towing? I was thinking i didnt need anything bigger than 4.3 but i thought there was freezer in the 4.3

2013 Tacoma Toyota 4.0 v-6 was a little concerned at first but other seem to be using it with no problem

Ya, that's my truck also. It's a 2014 w/double cab and long bed and I'm a little concern also. The payload is only 1050, so with cap, wife, me, 2 dogs, bicycle or two in the back, 360-380 tounge wt. that puts me with in 50 lbs of max. I don't know.
Going to the dealer today to see what they can do to put me in a tundra with the 4.6 engine. We'll see. If they don't give me a decent deal I will keep what I got. I love my Tacoma just concerned.

The 19 I went and look at the guy has been towing the 19 since new in 2010 picked up at factory he says it was no problem except gas.LOL If i was you i put the bikes on the bike rate on trailer. that will take it off the payload and reduce some tounge weight . I thinking i end up adding a leaf spring . I just bought the truck and has less than 3000 miles so i hat to go truck shopping.But i got just access cab so my payload is 1450

Yes, the 4.3 has a freezer compartment, but it's a small compartment inside the fridge compartment at the top. The new 6.7 has two exterior door and separate freezer and fridge compartments. Either fridge will run on 12V when towing. They are both 3 way fridges (propane, AC or DC). However, neither fridge will cool as well when running on 12V as they would on propane. In order for an absorption fridge to cool, it uses heat to start the absorption cycle. A flame from a propane burner is a much better heat source than an electrical heating element. So, they cool better on propane than on either AC or DC. This holds true for basically every absorption fridge out there.
