It helped that it was on the east coast with very few that come up for sale.

...and of course we moved the Escape 19 down to my house instead of leaving it next to it in the driveway. No way are you selling a Scamp with an Escape sitting right next to it!
I did get asked if the Escape was for sale but interest faded quickly when I told them how much I had paid for it. Most new buyers are interested in an inexpensive trailer to start out with.

Similar to swimming in a new place, you want to test the waters first before diving in.

I agree, but you could have that buyer that can spend more and seeing their first Escape gets them now looking in that direction. Didn't want to take the chance.

Casita's sell fast in the spring!

Now you have spare time to come up with the perfect build sheet and research all the cool stuff you can bring with you in the new trailer with the extra storage space it will have.

Congratulations on your sale!

Looking forward to the Bluebonnet rally (without a trailer) so we can get ideas and finish the build sheet. We got our sample fabric in so matching that up to the wood grain is going to be helpful. Got wife on-board to finish the camping season in a tent since we already paid for a few State Parks. All is good.

We sold our Casita within a week or two of listing it online. We didn’t lose any money, and don’t expect the new owner to lose money when they sell.
