How many are there?

I was just wondering how many escapes are out there?

19's in particular as that is what we are waiting for.

How many are there?

Tammy at Escape will have that info. They've built somewhere around 1300-1400 Escapes (just a guess) so far. No idea how many are 19s.

You have the perfect ten!

Caren, they are just into the 1200's but that is total for seven models. The 19' has only been made since 2009, and the 21' since, as well as Donna's model. So there are not too many 19's out there.

If you have an ETI build, do you really care how many have been made?

I don't... mine is perfect for ME!

All-molded-towables are special in the grand scheme of things. BUT, they're not Model Ts

The last three digits of the VIN ("serial number") of any Escape are a count of how many Escapes have been made up that point, plus 1000 if made in the last year or so, because they got to 999 and had to go back to 000.

Only the people at Escape really know how many of each model have been made. There was some information about the breakdown between models in an earlier discussion, but I couldn't find it in a quick search.

Donna, that is kinda cool given that your choice of names is Ten Forward. Captain Picard (spelling?) would be pleased!

Thanks for the info. When telling friends and co-workers about our wonderful trailer to be and ETI I just thought that would be an interesting tidbit.

1,006th Built?

If I understood Brian B-P correctly: The last 3 digits of the VIN on my 17B, completed on January 18th, are 006 making "Escaping Reality" the 1,006 Escape built.

I saved one statement about the 15s because I knew I'd never remember it (and I don't remember who posted it):

Currently there have been 53 15As and 43 15Bs released to the wild. By the end of the run (including rigs that were already ordered but have not yet been built), we're looking at 57 15As and 47 15Bs.

My Escape 19 has a VIN ending in 141, and was built in early May, 2015. So they built 135 trailers in 3 months??

Yes, that would the number.

That's the key I needed for a search:

I don't know to what extent anyone has determined the split between the other models.

Well, maybe closer to 4 months. That sounds a little high for even flat-out production rate, but VINs are probably assigned as the unit is started and times vary a bit by design, so the difference might not quite represent the actual construction rate.

On our Escape 21 with a build date of July 23rd the last 3 numbers of the VIN are 209. I guess that means it is the 1,209 Escape to be built.

I show #894 for 17 Jun 2014 completion, not sure if this matches the "build date". It entered production the 2nd week of May.

315 trailers in just under 13 months. Sure have stepped up production.

24 a month +/-

Caren
When I picked up my 15A in July there were about 110 total 15As in existence. They looked the number up for me.

Just checked my paperwork. Our 19’ was completed 7/16 and the last three digits are 193.
