How tight is too tight of a spot ?

We have an idea and don't know how workable it is- as far as parking
our Escape 21 goes, after we pick it up in August...
We would love to have our driveway not just accommodate our two cars (one being our truck)
but also our cargo trailer (that is used for art shows) AND our Escape trailer.

Years ago, we had added a third parking lane to the left of our two car
driveway. If we get rid of a tree and a lattice gate on the left of the driveway
(next to our house) and have a flush curb and more pavers put down -we could extend that lane up the side of our house , creating a small additional parking pad for placing either the cargo trailer or our Escape trailer. We would have only about 8 inches of clearance
on each side of the trailer between the house and the curb of this proposed new parking pad.
How possible is 8 inches of clearance on each side to work with if we
we're to purchase a park it 360 or other trailer dolly? Is that much too tight?

Looks like a straight back-in & drive-out situation. A confident driver should be able to back your trailers into that width of spot no problem. A less confident backer upper could likely do just fine with a dolly/ParkIt360. I say go for it. Just make sure the area is fairly level (doesn't have to be perfect) relative to cross-slope when you put down your paving stones.

It should be fine for storage but too tight for maintenance on the utility side of the trailer. For example removing the anode from the hot water heater. Those activities would need to be done in the driveway prior to parking it next to the house.

We have only 6 inches on each side at our "choke point" (gate opening) and just a few extra in the rest of the pad. We are able to park with using our tow... but much patience is required. Have to get out and look A LOT.

If we run into a pile of money, we'll get some sort of dolly -- until then, just hafta be careful. Sooz cannot bear to look. She goes inside the house and hugs the dogs while I park.

As well as getting in and out of the door! Guess you'll be a master at hitching and pulling forward before you leave on each trip.

If you can live with the hassle I think the space is doable. It would be nice to have more room but if that's all you have then take her slow and keep a close eye on things.

Would you have any mold or mildew problems parking that close to a solid wall? Why not back up trailer #1 another 12" from where it is parked now and park trailer #2 in front of it. Use more of that great driveway that you put in!

The pictures indicate the door side of the trailer would be unimpeded. He just might be on his neighbors property...

My initial thought was similar. It sure does look like an Escape 21, truck and car could fit in the existing driveway with the existing cargo trailer in some configuration. Just need to be careful with door swings. Maybe there is some other limitation that wasn't mentioned like always wanting to leave one lane clear?

Thanks everyone for all your answers and good advice! Really appreciate it! We had thought of doing this so that our truck and car could be parked in the garage over the winter and had wanted the two lanes leading into the garage kept free in order to be able to park in there as well as keeping that space open for clients coming to my home for private tutoring. ( I tutor special needs children)
It turns out that this plan for making a new pad isn't going to work after all due to a town regulation I just found out about that requires a three feet distance from our parked trailer to our neighbors lot line.
We also are not allowed to extend any vehicles over the sidewalk area so both trailers can't unfortunately end to end in one lane... we'll just have to forget about being able to put both cars in the garage and figure something else out that can work. We're grateful to have a big driveway and your help :-)

Unhappy

Wow! Schaumburg regulations sound like they borrowed some from California.
