I think he means the hinged table. Even though it's larger, it's much easier to drop and there is no pedestal storage.

I would go with the u-shaped dinette and the factory fabric. It would have been easier to figure out fabric choices at home with the camper right here. Digital thermostat and since I'm putting in a custom bed I would have had Escape leave out the factory bed.

Eliminate the 9 in vent in bath . We have the opening window in bath . I am concerned when the lid cracks and I need to change it . Before we always put extra vent covers on 14 in . They last longer . I don't know of any for 9 in . Also would of asked for step up for dinette . We did help that situation a little . Other then that we are very happy with the trailer and the choices we made . Would not have gotten u dinette when we saw the large table without u dinette . That did it for us last 2 Rv 's we had had smaller tables . It really comes in handy for larger table even using for extra work surface etc.

It is, and that would be one big consideration for the U-shaped dinette. We are rarely at the dinette as it is, AND we do end up storing a lot of stuff on it.

And that is the main reason Cathy doesn't want the U-shaped dinette. She wants the larger table so I think that is one more decision made. The list is coming down. Next, rock protection on the front of the trailer. We are definitely going with the front storage box which has protection plus I am really considering having the lower front of the trailer sprayed with Line-X. It is going to Alaska and I read you can pick up a few chips along the way.

We had talked about Line-X on the front a couple times, I recall it was determined to wait and see if you get any chips. If so you can Line-X it pretty much anywhere, and the chips will be covered.

I would get a larger refrigerator. Everything else was perfect!

U-Shaped Dinette

Loren: We also find the back seat of the u-shaped dinette cramped for the legs and uncomfortable for the back, but it is nice for the two of us to each take a side to read with our feet up. It might be even more useful when we eventually add a TV for movies. We like that the extra fabric and cushions of the u-shaped dinette give that end of the trailer a more "finished" look.

The U shape with an extra filler board from ETI for $100 makes a big difference. When we got home we had another one made for when we want the Uber Lounge. In hindsight I would have rather ETI make both- the space isn't square for measuring the board cuts.

That is exactly what I made for BlackJack, the "U" dinette is now a lounge area that allows two to raise their feet and sit back and relax.
