We would
add an outside shower
a bathroom window
electric bathroom vent
inside switches for the outside lights
inside switch for the extra reefer fans
transfer switch for the inverter (instead of a couple of wired outlets)
Turn the stove 90 degrees (burners front to back instead of side by side) and put in a deeper wider sink.
Electric front jack
Would like to move the pump switch/tank level panel from over the stove to over the sink, where I might actually notice I left the pump on (again).

We always leave the pump on while we are camping. Why would you want to turn it off? That seems inconvenient.

I keep leaving it on when we stop somewhere and use it. If it was right in my face as I exited the RR it might help me remember.

The standard window in the 21 is a slider in the kitchen, fairly large. The awning window is about 50% smaller, but has the advantage of being used while raining.

I just leave mine open Jim. The kitchen area is well sealed off from moisture so I haven't had a problem as long as I was on top of sideways rain that might overwhelm.
I do have the bathroom window too, so I don't rely on the kitchen for venting.

I like the bigger window, like being able to see and speak to the other person outside- it's also well covered if the awning is out. But, as we all know, we're all different.

Our 19' kitchen window did not open so we wanted an opening one on the 21' for sure for the air. We almost never deploy the awning. We have used our little opened awning window every night, rain or not. Very glad we have it.

I've always worked in a window-less environment.... like for DECADES. I need to see outside, there's something about camping and seeing outside... at anytime of the day. I love the big slider in the kitchen area of Ten Forward. Wouldn't trade it for anything! I just open the bathroom door and open the window in the bath area. Best of both worlds. YMMV

I have to agree with Donna, Chapi and others, Jim. I would think the larger window and better view outweigh the small chance of water getting in from the slider. You have all that fiberglass shell real estate you get to open up with nice windows - enjoy it! I'd have probably opted for the 21 style kitchen window in our 19 if it was possible.

Personal preference I'm sure, but after having door A and door B, I'd stick with door A centered in that area, between stove and sink.

This is what I have gleaned from the option list for the 21.
1. 2 - Way Hot Water Tank (Has two Power Sources: Propane or 120V) $200.00
2. Air Conditioner with Digital Thermostat (11,000 BTU) $1,100.00
3. Aluminum Rims ($95 each) $95.00 ($390 for 4)
4. Dual 6V Batteries (232 amp hrs) $275.00
5. Equalizer Hitch $350.00 (?)
6. Anderson Hitch $625.00 (?)
7. Additional Exterior Hatch (Rear Driver Side) $150.00
8. Extra Insulation & Thermal Windows (Fixed windows in Sleeping area) $1,000.00
9. Inverter 1500W Includes 1 outlet (Transfer Switch available Includes all outlets $850.00) $550.00
10. Microwave $110.00
11. Opening Window in Bathroom $200.00
12. Propane Tanks - Filled ($30/each) $30.00 ($60)
13. Removable Power Cord $150.00 (?)
14. Storage Cubby Cabinet Bins for Outside Bathroom Door $150.00
15. Storage Box $700.00
16. Surge Protector $350.00
17. 150W Solar Panel with Charger $850.00
18. 2 - 12V Heat Pads with Spray Foam Insulation $1000.00
19. Maxxfan with Remote 7000k (upgrade) $100.00 (?)
20. Maxxfan with Remote 7500k (upgrade). Smoke $125.00 (?)
21. Winterizing T Valve $35.00
5 & 6 - Is a weight distribution hitch required for these trailers?
13 - Removable power cord? What does this mean, that the stock one just comes through a door in the side of the trailer? Do you have to buy the cord to get a 30 amp marine plug in the side of the trailer?
19 & 20 - Maxxfans? Why do they offer two? I mean, is there a bunch of difference between the 7000? and the 7500k? It says they're upgrades. From what?
Otherwise, what do you folks think of my list? Anything I didn't include I should? Anything I included I shouldn't?
Just trying to get a handle on this stuff from knowledgeable people. We just got our small egg not long ago, and have very little experience with trailers.
Is this a good thread to post this and ask these questions? If not, will someone move it where it should be?
Thanks folks!
Frank

Hi Frank,
We are building our list for a 21 as well. Our list is similar to yours. We added the spare as the 5th aluminum wheel. The WDH selections have changed and you may not need one depending on your TV. You can add later. The approach we are taking is load it up and eliminate things definitely not wanted/needed and try to anticipate the need for some custom option that would be nice to have but needs to be done during the build. That's where this forum is quite helpful.
I think the smoke fan is a see thru affair.
Power cord is priced competitively. You may need 2 dog bone adapters for connection to household 15-20A and one for 50A connection if you hit a site with only good 50A connects.
I like the led light option for the awning. Up in the air about the MicroProbe option for the holding tanks. We hope to minimize the use of the bw tank and use paper judiciously.
Like the exterior propane connector and the outside shower connection.
We are new here too, but not to camping albeit more primitive types. There's a lot of helpful, well informed members here. I find lurking helps as I've learned a lot in a few weeks.
