Hmm that picture of the painted hills in #17 is definitely east of the Cascades (as are the Wallowas and Smith Rock).
We were on a road trip after Dave got out of the service many years ago. We fell in love with the place and, much to our families dismay, never went back to NY! Love it here, it's a special place.

Hi: Dave&Kathie... Sounds like you were smitten!!! Sort of aura gone in the case of NY. Alf

Dave and Kathie,

Met you at Cape Dissapointment in March after picking up our 21. I had my awning up and was not completely sure how to get it down. You were so gracious to show me how. You also had lots of good ideas in your trailer, much handier than us.

Thanks again for your help
Jerry

If you’re going to live in Oregon, the first thing to know is that you don’t live in Oregon, you experience Oregon.
We will get to know Oregon very well in our new 5.0 TA, and its not far from our new home in Nevada...

Jerry - We enjoyed meeting you and your wife. We were so surprised to happen upon another 21 when there are not that many around (yet!). Hope you are having as much fun as we are.

Myron:

Maybe Forks Washington? Off Hwy 101 on the Olimpic Peninsula. Northwest Washington.

I guess we won't get to see to much of Oregon as we will be cutting across the Northeast corner on I 84 as we head for Chilliwack. But there's always another time. Loren

Actually Oregon I-84 follows the Columbia River from Idaho to Portland; nice scenery - stop at Bonneville Dam and Multnomah Falls (right next to the freeway) if you have time. Farewell Bend State Park is just off the freeway at the Oregon/Idaho border and a great place to stop for a night.
