In Lieu of Microwave

Can someone tell me what Escape puts in if you don't have them install a microwave? Is it a closed cabinet?

A cabinet door and hardware to match all others. You will still have a 120v receptical installed in the cabinet.

Thanks, Rich & Mary! So you could potentially remove the cabinet door and place your own unit inside if later on one decided a microwave was desired, it sounds like.

BTW, how is your trailer holding up in the Arizona sun?

If you plan to install a microwave, you might want to ask Escape to not mount the microwave door. They will instead supply you with the door and mounting hardware and you can either mount it yourself or leave it off.

We found that a paper box (for 10 reams of 8.5 x 11 paper) perfectly fits in the microwave cabinet, now our pantry.

I read your post too fast the first time and said to myself “ What the hell are they doing with 5,000 sheets of paper.” Then I got it, just the box. Carry on

I have been called a paper pusher in the past, but now I am retired and as paper free as I can be.

What a hoot, Jim. It isn't often that the wife and I have tears of laughter like that!
