If you don't wash them, it tends to mute the brightness.

Wow, they Are pin-striped, by golly! That makes the re-paint a little harder.

I e-mailed Avery a week or so back to see if they could offer a muted reflective silver material for the graphics, like you sometimes see on running shoes that glow softly (not brightly) in the dark for increased visibility during evening walks. On a camper, it would be silver graphics by day, increased visibility when traveling at night. Not sure if something like that would be legal throughout all of North America, though. I have not heard back from Avery. Probably won't. But I thought I'd at least ask them about the possibility...

I was just looking at a specification sheet for the Avery HP 700 film and noted that vertical durability isn't the same for all colors. The maximum for this series is 6 years, but there are exceptions. Gold and Silver are 3 years. High Gloss Red is 4 years. Tangerine and Bright Orange are 5 years. Iguana Green is 1 year.

There is an Avery 900 series film that has a 12 year rating and is suggested for RV's. The adhesive is different so ETI might not want to offer it.

I think it look great on the rear of the trailer. And it's definitely a big plus for safety. Thanks for posting the source. Will have to order some after i get my trailer.

I requested samples from Avery online of a variety of colors, didn't receive response via email but within days the samples were delivered! Samples are 5x8. I chose the shiny black over silver.

Interesting! I see Spectra Red has been discontinued. That's been ETI's default decal color for years. I wonder what it's been replaced with? Anyone know?
