Jack Tube question

Hi, all:

Despite every conceivable search, I can't find the info re: the diameter of the jack tube. I presume it's 2 inches, but I thought I would ask, just in case.

I suspect most of you know this off of the top of your head. I don't.

Depends on the jack brand and size. Do you mean the standard ETI crank-o-matic?

Which I don't have.............

Charlie,

Yup, the standard ETI crank-o-matic. You must have an electric powered jack, eh?

The o.d. of the lower inner tube is 2" and the upper tube is 2.25"

Thanks, Ron. Just what I needed.

If the reason for asking is a plan to add some sort of wheel or foot to the jack, I'll note that as recently discussed not all 2" diameter jack legs are the same - the Escape jack is likely an Atwood set up for twist-lock accessories, not one using the common pin-through-hole design.

The infamous hitch wheel that I discuss elsewhere uses a pin through the bottom of the jack tube. That was acquired with our 17b in 2012". The hitch jack on the skylark came with a flat plate, also attached via a pin through a hole in the bottom of the jack
