Question light questions

We will be picking up our 2016 -21 and heading out to Olympic National Park, the home of millions of mosquitoes. I would like to change out the outside light bulbs and any other that are not LED's. Could someone give me an idea of the style and configuration of the '16 -21 bulbs/lamps? I would probably change out the outside light lens to amber and the bulbs to LED if they aren't already. I know the '17 -21 are all LED's but nothing about the '16.
thanks,
Jerry

I switched to an amber porch light. I couldn't see the step, but the mosquitoes knew where it was and hovered around the door.
Went back to a white light.

Jerry,
The 16's were supposed to be all LED, but our 15 ended up getting LED as well. The outside lights for some reason were still incandescent on ours. I would guess they are all the same outside lights but maybe not. If they are not LED it is a bayonet base bulb. Not sure you'll know for sure until you see it unless Sarah or someone at ETI can look for you.

Our 2016 21 ft has all LED except for the bulb in the range hood. It also ended up burning out before we got home. We replaced it with an LED from this company

How about just asking ETI to install the Amber cover and making it LED if it's not? That's what mine is.

Amber cover gets my vote. (Haven't gotten ours yet, but hopefully soon.)

Our lights are all LED on our 2015 (21), except for the light in the range hood. FWIW, when we ordered our trailer, we didn't select the all LED option. (We thought we'd just replace a few of the most used bulbs with LEDs.) I am thinking that sometime in summer 2015 ETI decided to make the LEDs standard, rather than continuing to deal with both systems... Which means I'd be surprised if your 2016 doesn't also have LED lighting - except for that range hood.

Yes, since 2014 all led inside and out except for range hood and license plate bulb, which ironically was the same bulb.

That is exactly how mine came. I'm assuming because that is the way Escape buys the components, bulbs already in them. At some point I'll replace at least the range hood one with Led. Then I'll have a spare for the license plate

I must have gotten the leftover porch lights someone found in a closet, the rest was LED. I just redid a Scamp 19 and it took bayonet bulbs so I used two extra to take care of the Escape porch lights.

I recently read that Vicks Vaporub works well as a mosquito repellant! Could dab a little on yourself as well as the door frame at the same time!

Ours is August 2015 and came with no LEDs. We replaced a few with LEDs. The cool bulbs ordered fit more or less but no warm bulbs in the same part number fit.

It is a tiny wedge type bulb, wait until you take it out and then order one, save yourself some worry about the wrong one. There are differences between years and hoods and manufacturers.
