Malfunction no Junction
The good reverend Adrian Toms stopped by late yesterday afternoon and camped in the driveway last night. He was on his way to Georgia to visit his daughter, son in law and grand daughters one born only about a month ago, and his wife Beth. He was on his way south from Manitoba and while he has a new Ford F-150, the steering and navigation both failed and the truck ended up in the twin cities. From there it ran ok all the way down highway 27. He wrestled it off the highway for a few miles of cross country till he got to our place. This morning as he was getting ready to leave, he mentioned out on the driveway that he was continuing south on 27 to St. Louis where he'd pick up interstate 55. It took me awhile to figure out his problem but I finally did. This Ford had always wanted to roll down the Avenue of The Saints with a genuine SKY PILOT at the wheel and it wasn't taking any advice from Rand Mc Nally or anyone else. Happy trails reverend, we will see you on the big river in a few weeks.
