Moose in the trailer comment

Okay, I'm going nuts here. Tried using the search feature every which way and haven't found it. When I first joined this forum I was reading lots of stuff but wasn't clued in that I should bookmark threads I wanted to refer to later. I now do that.

Anyway, I believe the thread was about problems folks have had with their trailers and what they could/would do differently, if they could. But, I'm not 100% sure of that since I've read a lot of threads over the past 2 and one half weeks.

This one guy posted that the moose he shot in Alaska or somewhere in Canada (the Yukon?) didn't fit in his trailer and made some comments about the axles or suspension. I found a post where someone referred to his comment, but I can't find the original comment.

Told hubby about it and now I would love to show it to him, but can't find it. Does anyone know which one I'm talking about? I'm going nuts here!

Thanks!

I remember it well. One of the things that impressed me so much about the Escape was that so many members of the forum stepped up to the plate to defend Escape when that guy started to complain about his "unrealistic" expectations. There's another thread about an Escape owner that had his solar blow off his Escape. (In a really windy area of the country) Escape gave him another solar. It blew off. When he asked for a third, Reace said he would pay half if he (Reace) could install it. Again, the Escape forum came to Escapes defense! To me, Reace & Tammy have established a client base of "raving fans" instead of "just satisfied" customers. We are very (EXTREMELY) happy with going with an Escape!

Third page in, comment by Yukon Escape. I did a search on moose, but also kind of recalled the topic, which helped. Moose brought a surprising number of results.

Yep, that was it, thanks. Must have missed it last night when I did a "moose" search. And you're right - lots of results. I was getting quite tired by that point.

I just laughed myself silly trying to imagine someone trying to stuff a dead moose inside of a trailer and how he did it. and what a mess it might have created. I don't know if that's exactly what he did, but that was my visual imagery.

That comment was one of the early ones I read and it stuck in my mind. As well as the fact that so many people have not had problems with their trailers, unlike what I was reading on the forums for other types of rigs. And, like you, how folks wrote how happy they were with their trailers as a follow up to his comment. I loved how one person said not very many will haul around a dead moose in their trailer. Um, yeah. But, it was good to read that he was still happy with the trailer, dead moose being too heavy not withstanding.

I know we'll be very, very pleased with ours when we eventually order and get it.

Well what's keeping you Laura? Plunk down a deposit! Life is short, and the build dates are now almost 11 months out. If you're still not 100% decided on which model, I'd suggest you put a deposit on the one you're leaning towards. If you change your mind afterward, you can notify them and they'll usually let you keep at or near your original build date because you "got in line".

Let me give you my husband's email and you can discuss it with him! But, yeah, know what you mean and we've discussed it here.
