Had a gift bottle of Baileys here at home and discovered it has a "best before" date on it. Ours was a year out of date and got tossed.

Right- the alarms are sometimes real. My Bose stopped working on the AC after using it one time with the inverter; luckily it has a DC side which still works.

Mine is probably pretty much the same as yours, Jim, because it's one-cup size and glass as well. At 373 grams (380 g with lid) it is heavy for what it does, and I would prefer a lighter one - especially a lighter one with a handle - but I'm happy with this one for the few bucks it cost, especially since I would make too much of a mess pouring from a coffee cup (rounded lip, no spout). For weight, I suppose polycarbonate would be ideal.

I can imagine the smell of coffee brewing all over Osoyoos from early morning to the late night hours.

Nah, the coffee at our trailer shuts down by noon, and the smell you will find in the late hours would be that wonderful peaty aroma wafting from my snifter of a Single Malt Scotch, from the Isle of Islay.

I always thought having coffee in evening was an excuse to imbibe some distilled spirits. Baileys or Kahula is a popular night cap. Or without on a cool evening around the fire.

Wine and cheese is a very healthy evening choice.

Wow! I couldn't agree with you more! Strong coffee in the morning and to finish off the day with smoke and peat... heaven.

I do imbibe in a beer or two in the evening, but I like beer in the heat of the day most. My wife though, would be all over the beer, and definitely the peanut thing.

I have a Bowmore, Laphroaig, Lagavulin, and Ardbeg in the cabinet, and at least one of them, or maybe another purchase, will be coming along with me to the rally.

Oooo, another single malt person! I should have a Balvenie 15 with me, if it lasts until then. Have been reading up on the entry restrictions for those of us south of the 49th parallel...pretty grim. Between my scotch and my lady friend's gin, we may be leaving money in Canada!

If you don't get carried away, I'd not worry about it.
I've driven my well-stocked trailer over the border and back ( with the same liquor supply ) a few times.
If asked, coming back to Canada, I tell them what I bought. They don't ask what I dragged into the US and back.
Maybe I just got lucky.

You are allowed 1.5 litres of spirits per person. I have doubled that and they just waved me through. Only if you have an excessive amount is it worth their trouble to charge the duty on it.
