You say "Oh wow". What do you think I said when I've just arrived home driving up from Eugene, OR today. We passed exit 22 about 2 hours before the slide!
Not really surprised. We had about 3 hours of driving in torrential rain in that area.

Wondering how your insulation system survived Mexico, Quartzsite and torrential rains?

...and I was the silly OP that called it "Woodway" instead of "Woodland". I don't know if it was a missed Autocorrect or a brain fart. Either way I should have caught it.

As I just posted in another thread, the insulation proved its' worth when we were parked on 6" of snow in Kalama WA. Good in the cold and it's effect is noticable. Don't know if I noticed anything in Baja or Q'site. I mean, it's hot, you're walking around in bare feet etc. Any difference in warmth isn't that noticeable to me, Not like an area of the floor that feels cold and another area that feels not cold.
As for the rains, when we hit a huge "puddle" on I-5 maybe it helped float us across. Huge wall of water obscured vision, cars all around decelerating, lucky to come out the other side still pointing in the right direction.
