Mine is "Suite Escape".
Which by the way, is one of the best names I've seen. I love names that are a play on words.

Oh, and I think I just heard you volunteer to collect the names!

Thanks for thinking of me. Perhaps this thread would serve the purpose. I do think, however, that the volunteering should come from the owners themselves. Not that I don't think it would be fun to run around the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Holland to track them all down.

Sounds like a great plan... but I note that Dexter Axle is a major supplier to trailer manufacturers, including Escape. There's even another company named Dexter that supplies some trailer body components (although not to ETI as far as I know). There's also the disturbing TV series. The intent of "Dexter" might not come across as intended... it would at least help to have an accompanying horn graphic.

Over on the CasitaForum, Arizona Eileen keeps a listing (PDF) updated in the thread http://www.casitaforum.com/invboard/...-casitas-name/. It's currently 13 pages long... if you're looking for inspiration! Sorry, you have to be a member of the CasitaForum to view. But joining is just as easy as joining here.

While at Osoyoos, I met the ETI employee who actually emblazoned "BlackJack" across the front on my unit. Really nice to place a name and face with someone. BlackJack is both a play on "21" the card game as well as the name of a dearly missed black Lab dog- BlackJack- who passed the rainbow bridge back in 2001. Franklin, my current lab, along with Hershey, his disabled chocolate lab sister, are both rescue dogs. I may have to get another Escape to memorialize them.

If you've ever read a biography of Charles Mingus' life, "Mingus Mayem" may be more appropriate (lol)...

This is fun.

If you like tea with your jazz, you could call it Jasmine.

My wife supplied the art work to the shop that supplies the decals to ETI, they were very accommodating they even sent us the samples of all the colors used for the decals on the Escapes. It was very helpful to see the actual samples as viewing colors on monitors is not always very accurate.

We are considering "yanshuka' ". It is a Tlingit verb meaning to camp in the wilderness.
It surely is what we want to do and the use of the Tlingit language harkens back to the three months I spent on Admiralty Island on the Alaska panhandle when I got out of college.

How does .... "NoMoreMotels" sound? I don't think we'll use it, may not even name the thing when it gets hatched. But now that I think about it, I might play around with idea for names.
