The "EZ" winterizing is a "T" valve that you insert between the pump and your fresh tank. You turn the valve and the pump will now suck liquid thru a 18" hose which is inseted in a gallon of rv antifreeze. You leave it in this position and turn on the pump. you then go around and turn on each faucet until the antifreeze is present. Winterized. In the spring, you turn the valve and fill your tank and run until lines are clean.
I'm having a shut off installed behind the toilet in case of problems, it is a good idea to have shut off installed at each water use (outside shower, toilet, sink) and toilets seem to leak easily.May also do the sink(no outside shower ordered)

Gotcha. I used to have to do that with my old stick trailer. Just never heard a name for it.

Don't they do the low point drain anymore? That is so much easier.

Yes, but this way I can use the toilet in the winter without dewinterizing the trailer. I can flush the toilet and the pump will draw anti freeze.

The unknown "TBD" acronym but probably not more than $25-$50. Jim. I'm not worried about what goes into my tanks but the ability to use them.

I agree the 5.1 Donna D is gonna be great! I think that is what we are gonna save for.

Jim, the list is great, we think in very similar ways. The toilet shut off and easy winterizing are great given some current on the road repairs I had to make. Thanks for all the updates!

Hi Jim,
I didn't see the electric/gas hot water option on your build sheet.

Not a big fan of that set up, had it before and IMHO it is not needed. If anything, I may look into a POU electric heater for the kitchen sink. Here is a link and a picture Kim,
Instant Hot Water Faucet | eBay
The shower is normally not used and the only hot water needed is for washing dishes, which
one hour in the am is all the propane I use.

Jim,

You must remember that you will have it up for sale in six months or so, with an order in for the 23'.

Nah, I do not have any more room in my yard for anything bigger. My alley is only 15 feet wide and I have to pull into my neighbors yard every time. The 21' is my capacity.

This is really interesting , would that be plumbed in to supply hot or cold through the same faucet , or will there need to be two separate faucets . Also wonder about that electrical device ( at least that what it looks like to me ) , would that be under the counter - wired in ?
Sure looks like easier maintenance than a tank .

Hi Jim,
Why this?
"cut mattress 2” smaller on exterior wall side".
We're starting to think about a build sheet ourselves.

Thanks,
