Growlers are not as common around here as the are in states like WA and ID. So, we just buy large beers to share. Most of those are around 750 to 1,000ml.

The growlers we use in Southern California are 1/2 gallon, 1,893 ml. I remember last Christmas we went to a favorite micro-brew spot and bought a growler of their 12.5% Christmas Special. The next evening we opened it and my wife didn't like it...well it was a very merry evening for me!!!

I quite like that you can take growlers into places to get refilled. They need more of that around here.

I like how these threads morph into more important discussions over time! I'm sure Jim concurs!

I prefer buying my beer in cans, a 12 pack in each hand, a balanced diet.

I only buy cans when going canoeing, easier to carry the empties out, and they float too. Much prefer bottles, but you can always tip a can into a glass and make be happy. Okay, I can even be happy with a can alone, but not quite as much. Happy?

We both know the reason that cans are better in canoes...when you have to you-know-what...!...

Yeah, drag them in the fishing net to cool them down, right?

I too would like to carry growlers while camping in the 19 I think I will order.....but have a question.

With the larger refrig...where does the microwave go? I know normally it is on top of fridge is this still the case with the larger?

We want the larger fridge and still the microwave, since we tend to pre-make meals and then zap them after a day of hiking....

Do they relocate the micro? or just re-do the opening?

Thanks
