New BEST camping items

There's already a thread going about best options to an Escape trailer. So I thought we should have one on items you take that add to your comfort level while camping. Here, I'll start

Donna - thanks! You just gave me a great laugh to counter my morning news reading. I sure miss seeing Red and his crew on TV.

It's always good to have a tool that can perform multiple functions.

You can fill it with ice and keep the beer cool too or if you don't want to buy ice, partially fill it with water and stand it up in your freezer. Also good for a conversation starter when you send your company over to the freezer to get the ice....

If you salt the rim you can fill it with frozen margarita and just jam it in the ground when you want to put your drink down...looks like it would be a really big margarita!

Wow, delicious!!

Speaking of options I was just wondering if anyone knows how much the factory tongue box option (empty) by itself, weighs. It does look light--maybe 10-15 pounds?

Oops. This might be the wrong thread for asking.

Myron, that tongue box gets real heavy when filled with ice and beer

Glad I wasn't drinking a margarita when I read that post, I would have choked laughing, and I hate to waste a good drink. Even if it is oversized, you could always share it. Just reach across the table with that big handle, and pass it along.
Gives a whole new option too, no longer have to choose between shaken or stirred....

Yes Donna, clearly the wrong thread for asking about tongue weights

You might want to hang on to it real tight if someone says, "Hey, can I borrow that for a few minutes? I'll bring it right back."
