New Truck or New Trailer?

I guess the obvious answers could be either both or neither, but if one were in the market for a pickup truck and an Escape 5.0 but could only afford one of them new, which would you choose to buy new, and why?

In general there is not much difference in price between a new and used 5.0TA so you won't save much. You can however buy a used truck at pretty much any price, just depends on your requirements.

So with $ being a factor, buy a new 5.0TA, or at least get in line for one. Then go out and find a truck with suitable specs for the trailers payload, and whatever else you need in a truck.

Or if yiu get very fortunate you could buy both the 5.0 and truck from same seller as when SpokaneEscape had to sell theirs for health reasons. Hope Paul is doing well.

The trailer for sure. Great investment, holds its value, and you'll enjoy many years of great camping. Tow vehicles come and go.
