I think it's all in the "feature implementation". For me, not so much. MLW sees, in my eyes, the optical equivalent to the microwave clock flashing "12:00/12:00/12:00 ......., So

Now that we have traveled with the new windows, and have the trailer back home, I wanted to give a little feedback. We very much like them. We had to go away for several hours, thought it was not going to rain, so we left all the windows open in the trailer to continue airing out that new fiberglass smell. A high wind, driving rain thunderstorm moved thru and I was sure we'd come home to a soaked trailer, but much to our delight everything was dry. The only moisture was in the bathroom from the vent being wide open.
We've also found that there is plenty of air movement thru them when the fan is on, especially if we close some of the windows and just keep open the ones near where we are sitting or sleeping.

Nice to hear some positive feedback on the new windows. Glad we went with them.

The next big test will be camping in cold weather. We used to get a lot of condensation on the window's aluminum frames inside the trailer with the slider windows. I am hoping that that will be greatly reduced with this new design.
I also think that the new insulation is significantly more effective than the Reflectix. On our trip home from pick up and the rally we ran into some hot weather. We weren't at places with electric hookups and in full sun. While I don't have any reliable data, it seemed to both of us that the trailer was slower to heat up inside than our 17B (which also had extra insulation and dual pane windows) used to.
Underside insulation was not offered when we got our 17. With it on the new 21, the floor stayed much warmer on the couple of cool nights we ran into.

We have the new 21' and special ordered the slider double paned windows that seem to be doing fine. We have gone through several thunderstorms and haven't noticed any black streaks. Biggest drawback that I see is that you do not get a back window that opens with the slider windows.
We also ordered the front window which we love for light and seeing what is going on that direction. Again it doesn't open either.

How easy is it to take out and put back in the screen of a new swing-up window?

Just about the same as the older style windows, some spring clips hold them in place.

It does with the new frameless type. Really nice to have it open.

Having now had both styles, with both effectively doing their job, I still much prefer the new style windows. Plenty of ventilation, easy to operate, seem to seal very well, and... well, they just look cooler.

They certainly do. The whole exterior looks sleeker and cleaner.

I find your insult of the "classic" trailer to be completely egregious and entirely...ok, maybe it's slightly true, but gosh darn it!
