One woman's obsession with Tenny-Weeny Trailers

This article is about a woman joining a Sisters-on-the-Fly campout. Sounds perfect to me: https://www.yahoo.com/travel/taking-...672389392.html

A lady who bought my 17LD as a first trailer is now a member and absolutely loves the organization.

Yes, it was the no dogs policy that ruled me out too.

My buddy and I often fly fish and we both own dogs. There is no way we would ever bring dogs with us on the river. They are a pain in the butt, disturbing fish, birds and other wildlife.

Have you considered starting a Sisters with Dogs camping group? You may find out there are a lot of women who share your sentiments.

Not all their trips involve fly fishing. I agree I would not fly fish with a dog. But people who have dogs learn to manage them we know not every fun thing we do is good with a dog but I do like to camp with my dog I camp alone it's nice to have the company!

We camp with dogs, and wives. When we fish we leave dogs and wives at camp. Problems occur when people leave dogs alone at camp or bring them on the river.

I'm not much of a fisher woman so .. I understand that a barking dog left at camp is a bad thing and equally get that a dog on the river while fly fishing would be a bad thing. But many of the trips they talked about were the drinking eating hanging out short hiking kind of trips my dog excels at those!

I'm sure this would be a blast for solo female travellers with pets, but please consider posting your gatherings. From experience I have learned to avoid these high levels of estrogen.

On second thought, I would love to see all those cute dogs.

Fishing with your best friend is one of life's greatest pleasures IMO.

I have taken Jasper fishing a few times. When his exploring could get in the way, I just get him to stay put out of the way. Never had a problem. When fishing from a canoe, he does get bored easily though. He sure does love to eat the parts I don't want while cleaning.

Just as many women have learned to avoid places with high levels of testosterone.
