Opening rear window

We are sitting here at Organ Pipe Nat'l Monument in AZ. Weather is nice and warm, and we are really enjoying our new 21'. However, we are wondering why ETI doesn't offer an opening rear window for cross ventilation. Or why ETI doesn't offer an option for one. Sure would make it cooler inside.

They will not do a rear opening window because when you are driving the air flow at the rear of the trailer will suck water, or dust ( if you are lucky ) into the trailer.
Think of 'drafting' in NASCAR. The car in front sucks the car just behind along.

We never had that problem with our Casita, and the ventilation was very nice. Just wondering.

I have had rear opening windows in other trailers without that issue happening. Possible the new style windows may allow the rear to open, we need to wait and see.

We would definitely have an after market opening window installed by ETI if it was offered. One can only hope...!
