Out my back window!

How does one completely remove a post within the one hour editing period and/or move to another category? Thanks

Kinda what's out our side/dinette windows. Got one of our favorite sites up on the cliff overlooking Lake Pleasant AZ last weekend. This trailer sure camps sweet. First time running the AC some (highs 85, lows 52) and I love that the fan shuts off when the compressor does.

Just returned from two months in Arizona. Found on the camera a lot of good pics, but only two which are truly "out the back window".

4/11/2016 Taken out the back window (du!) at Alamo Lake BLM camping. It was raining and the sun was going down (double du!).

4/16/2016 Taken at Dome Rock BLM near Quartszite. I liked the suguaro.

Hope your spring is going as well.

Hugh,
Been by Alamo Lake quite a bit but haven't stayed there. Seems it's a big fishing destination here. Did you like the campground, etc.?

We didn't stay in the campground. It looked expensive for the facilities provided (i.e. we'd had a shower in the last week). So we stayed outside the park on BLM land. Before the park, going in on Alamo Rd., turn right onto Park Rd., then Left onto Wickenburg Rd. Both good gravel roads. There are a number of BLM "campsites" (dispersed camping) towards the end of this road. This area was nice and not too busy (weekday) but no real access to the lake.

It is a fishing destination, and we don't fish. There must be some interesting hiking but we weren't there long enough to find trails. Looked like a lot of off road 4x4 opportunities also. The one thing we didn't like was the number of burrows. Not that we don't like burrows but there was a good bit of burrow scat around. With dogs that love to eat and roll in scat, this is a pain.

Due to the scat we'll probably not return. If you don't have dogs it'd be a fine place to stay. There's only one paved road and out, not on the way to anywhere. But all in all, good desert camping. Give it a try, it's not too far from you.
