Can someone who has the oven tell me if a 9x13 pan fits in it?

Yes. Until I added a 12" X 12" tile to the bottom of the oven, it tended to burn the edges of things...

A pizza stone would probably work better, although the one I had for my toaster oven did not survive traveling - it ended up as a bunch of chunks. My tile cracked in half. Still works...
