Though we did not do this we saw a motor home with a screen room. The outer corners and door edges been fitted with about 4 grommets vertically each. Spaced about 2 1/2 inches apart. Then the anchoring stake was installed at the appropriate hole to cinch the sides to the ground. Anything extra was folded in and The patio mat was laid to cover the excess. She was yar.

Here is an image from a couple years ago where the screen room lined up well with the terrain. We have since made the mat smaller. When she said she wanted a big mat, I got her a big mat. Too big.

Hi Jim.
I’m actually working on a new SPAM recipe this week. It will be marketed under either “Le Nord Americano” or “Iowa Dave’s New SPAM Yankee”. it will be a complete meal in a sandwich and be tasty as well as nutritious. The catch phrase Alf helped me with, so he will get some royalties every fall. The phrase will be “Eh SPAM Ole”. It’s never too late for entrepreneurship. ( man that’s a big word)

I always thought that's what a hamburger was, well, plus the fries of course.

Dave, I think you are on to something. Years ago we had a group that varied between 10-20 co-worker who went camping every Spring. The highlight of the trip was the annual Spam cookout. We had the most inventive, unique and very often delicious dishes. The creativity was over the top. Everything from entrees and appetizers to desserts were made. Spam Sushi, Spam Wellington, Spam Fudge, and many, many more.

No but if you can hum a few bars, maybe I can fake it. I thought someone might break into Danny Boy around the campfire the other night, given the international flavor of the assembly.

Agreed. It is also Global and has multiple uses. As youngs kids in the UK back in the 50/60's it was always a favourite and remains on the shelves in stores so must be selling. Whilst I have not eaten any for a long, long time thus far it has done me no harm but I use it more for fishing bait these days for UK freshwater fishing for Carp, Tench, Chub, Barbel. They seem to love it.

HI Alf,
Here are a couple pics of our Patty O' Screen room. I had to alter the end panels to match the extension of our Escape's awning.
With full roll down curtains, it's much larger and heavier than the Escape supplied screen room. We take it once in a while when we plan to be somewhere for an extended stay. The Escape screen room is always in the trailer under the bed - wouldn't be without it.

That's a nice screen room. Where did you find that?
