Personalized license plates?

We figured our tow vehicle needed a little sprucing up for our soon to hatch 21'. So we got it this (if you don't get it, think of what "ESC" on your computer keyboard stands for). Anyone else with personalized license plates related to their camper?

License plates

My all time favorite was owned by a local fellow that I dealt with on occasion. He was president of the local corvair club. His plate was NADIR. Jack and Nancy who are from Sarnia Ontario and have a 19, have ESCAPE on their tow.

I just passed my amateur radio extra class exam. If I get a new "vanity" callsign I'll have a license plate made with it to put on my trailer, to advertise my uber-nerdiness.

Thanks Jack. I looked into the Iowa equivalent but we only get seven characters and just Escape was taken. Then they told me BOHUNK was derogatory and that I couldn't argue with them, Though in my home town middle school we were over 50% Czech.

Sent you a PM Dave. By the way, I notice my 100th post made me a "Senior Member". That will explain some of the senior moments I am having!

Thanks Jack, I'm having senior moments all the time. Doesn't help when they call from where I used to work and ask me what year we installed a walk bridge. Was it 1998 or 1999? On the other hand I used my Library 101 skills and figured it out.

Here's one I took out out of the corn crib at the farm. Another two years and it will be 100 years old. My mother, who was raised on the farm, was born in 1919. This plate hangs in the garage above my beer bottle opener. I see it often and memories flow like beer and sometimes a little tear.

Wow! Alabama restricted me to only 6 characters on our "Forever Wild" wildlife conservation plates. I could have done "IESCED" (translating to, "I escaped"), but I didn't want to be pulled over by every law enforcement officer on the road.

I'd like to see your current plates last 100 years, good luck! I couldn't believe it when you showed me last year how cheaply IA plates are made.
