Pickup our 21 tomorrow

Been lurking here on the Forum for awhile - we pick up our 21' tomorrow! We've had 2 different Trail-Lite models over the years, and are looking forward to the Escape. First saw one in-person 2 years ago while camping in Yellowstone during late September and had been thinking about it ever since. Look forward to making it to one of the events, possibly this summer.

We'll be towing with a VW Touareg TDI. It handled our old 21' TrailLite great, and am hoping for the same with the Escape.

Another Washingtonian...you'll pass right by me. I lurked for many months before I made my presence known. And then I didn't say much other than to ask a few questions until I took possession of Egbert. Welcome!

Congrats from Oregon! Did you get a special deal on it through Costco?

Congrats! We head up there on Sunday. The Touareg is a very good tow vehicle, up to 7700 lbs of towing capacity. It should handle your 21 well. Please, lurk no more!

Thanks all. We purchased straight thru Escape, and it has been a good experience. Will post pictures soon.

As the owner of a Jetta TDI, I have given thought to the Toureag TDI as a tow vehicle for our 21'. Please post your MPG results and general towing thoughts whenever you can.

Congratulations on your new 21. We have a few months to wait yet but we can't get out of here until after Labor Day anyhow. And yes, I lurked on this sight for a while too, so don't feel bashful. Enjoy your new trailer and let us hear how it goes. Loren
