Picture request?

I am trying way in advance to decide on which Escape. I have seen lots of pictures of the interiors but none with people standing at the sink or anywhere in the trailer to help judge the actual interior size. I'm on the east coast with not an escape in sight. We are trying to decide on the 5.0TA or a 21. It would be a great help for my wife and I if you could post some pics with your spouse standing in your trailer so we can judge how much room these little trailers have.
Thanks !!!
Jason

Take a look at the owners map on this site. The Styers are in western N.Y. with a new 21 that I'm sure they'd be glad to show. From the door to the back it would be pretty much the same as a TA.

Second possibility is to visit the Niagara rally Alf has every year. September 15th this year. All sizes of Escape were there two years ago, and you could see how reservations go for that.

If I get ambitious, I'll look for some of our interior shots.

Bill

Even photos are not going to give you are real idea of the space, as the perspective of a wide angle lens needed to take in a decent viewing angle distort the scale of things.

Besides, there are many similarities in these two trailers, being identical from the door back on the passenger side, and from the fridge and cabinets back on the driver's side (basically behind the bath of the 5.0TA), with the width being the same.

The main difference in the two is bed and bath layouts afforded by the two different styles. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

I bought my 19 without ever viewing an Escape trailer, and have no regrets on doing so, but being able to view the different models will certainly be of benefit. Contacting Escape to get a list of trailers nearest you would be advantageous. Going to a rally with all of them in one place even better. Making a fun trip out of seeing them is a worthy adventure.

There is a rally in September less than 3 hours from you in in Niagara Falls, On, attended by every Escape model available, you can tour each one and make your decision in person. See here http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f1...17-a-9017.html

Yeah, I don't think photos of people in the pictures is going to help a whole lot, unless those people are willing to provide other information such as "I'm 6' tall and 230#." Otherwise, the person could be 5'4" and the interior shot might lead lead you to think one thing and it's actually another.

What you can do, is put tape on the floor to give you an idea of space in the dinette, kitchen counter, etc. Might work for you.

Wide angle lens indeed. I'd have Rita take my picture in the 19 but I can't find my fisheye lens for the Canon AE1.
Seriously, I'm pretty good sized and the 19 is good for us being able to sliiiiiide by if need be. Our style of camping means I lay on the bed, sit at the dinette or usually go outside if Rita is going to be active in the camper. We cook mainly outside. And if it's cold or raining I just stay out of the way. I don't have much to contribute inside but I'm a good driver and setup man. "gofur" Dave

This pretty much describes us, with mostly cooking outside, but when forced inside all but the bed and dinette becomes Lisa's domain. I do almost all the driving, though Lisa does help set up a bit. She has offered to take over the awning deployment from me now too.

You got it. Seems strange though, as she claims I am the one good at pushing buttons.

Never fails to amuse me that strong, independent, capable women don't hesitate to use, "that's a man's job" in their delegation of duties .

Works fine for us though.

I'm 6'7" 250 pounds so I shoulda got a 5.0 since interior height is from 6'4" to 7'. And the 21 is 6'5" interior height. But I got the 19. Have learned to duck around the air conditioner but we don't spend much time standing around in there anyway. Guessing regardless it would be a squeeze for anyone over 435 pounds. You little people have all the luck.

We took these so we could explain just how big our Escape 19 really is...
Candy is 5'2" and packs a folding step stool to help with that cabinet. Glenn is 6'1". The cabin shot should give you a sense of scale...our scale that is.

There may be a bit of a height difference, but at least the hems of your shorts line up good.

Perfect. And that is how pictures are to be hung, too.

I saw that! So you visited the Valle Caldera. First time there we actually saw production trucks and his police Bronco. I'm sure that guy inside wearing the brown felt cowboy hat was Walt.

That is one reason I read this forum so much . The many observations made here crack me up.

Yep. You got it Myron. The management changed to the NPS but they have not had time to implement many changes yet. I think there is room for a campground there. A great place for bicycling as well.

I'm watching the last season of Longmire, and now it looks too much like New Mexico. They had me fooled in to thinking it was Buffalo WY!
