Red Dog's latest mod!
OK OK ...just trying to keep things light...
It's my water heater circuit breaker. One day, I will install a fancy switch so I don't have to bend under the table.
Have a good day, everyone!

Unless your water heater tank gets emptied, how come you want to turn it off? Fred, are you just bored and looking for more mods?

I turn mine off because I don't want to keep it running while parked when not in use, yet plugged in to the house. We don't always plug in right when we get back but do if we are doing something inside, and definitely a couple days ahead to get the fridge cooled down.

Where are these "looks" you keep referring to? I see no pics of "The Trailer, Part Deux" yet.
Hint hint. Some of us won't be fortunate enough to attend the rally and see it in person Jim....

Photos will happen, just a few (okay a bunch) of things to finish up first.

Robert, the "looks" I referred to was a personal visit to Jim and Lisa's last Saturday, sorry I took no pics, not sure Jim would allow it anyway he is too modest to mention his finishing skills

I added the switch to mine to make it easy to turn off the water heater when connected to a 15 amp pedestal. That lets me immediately run the AC to cool the trailer (or an electric heater if it is cold) before turning on the water heater. It also insures the water heater doesn't come on at night while an electric heater is running, which would likely blow a 15 or even 20 amp breaker.
I don't like to use the outside switch - it is not the most robust device & replacing it is a pain, plus it might be raining!
