Re: Retirement

Jerry,

On the subject of retirement and 1-ply, the problem is I seem to have had my head up my a** when I should have been paying more attention to the prospect instead of musing on the idea.

So, given a short deadline to take the money and run, or stay, I had to turn it down. If I had a better idea of what I could live on, and if the housing market was good, and if wife and child were ready to pick up and move, and if I didn't like my job, I might have made a different decision.

I still get six weeks vacation and will still be able to do as much fishing, camping and travel as I'm able to tolerate.

Re: Retirement

You'll know when it's time. Just remember, the one think you can't ever get back or make more of, is... time.

Re: Retirement

True.

But there is a difference between "having a great time" and "doing time".

Re: Retirement

Hi: All...Face it!!! We're all just putting in "Time". Marking "Time". Reading "Time". I think the late John Lennon said it best "Life is what happened while we're busy making other plans". Alf
