There is a good chance that the same truck will show up if you are a member of AAA or Good Sam since they use a lot of contract trucks ( and pay them a pittance according to tow truck driver I talked to ).

We have AAA RV Plus and are very happy with it. We have used it for the car and trailer. Always prompt excellent service.

I'm a little surprised that no one mentioned that we've just been through this subject:
http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f7...vice-9059.html

I know it has come up a number of times before; here's one from a couple of years ago:

What were the correct questions?

Hmmm, I just went through all the threads and posts, and I’m thinking I should switch over to Good Sam. Right now we have AAA Mountain West, (Montana, Idaho and Alaska) with trailer coverage. We have been assured by our local agent that we are covered in Alaska and Canada and the outside. But it sounds like we could be left high and dry in certain areas of the lower 48. Scott

Why do you think you wouldn't be covered in certain areas. It's the policy of the AAA for your area that matters. BCAA covers my tow and trailer everywhere in US and Canada. Doesn't matter that Pennsylvania AAA doesn't cover trailer, BCAA will cover me there.
Check with your AAA.

Thanks, must of missed that. Will have to follow up with our agent. Most of the family farms from two to seven generations back are in the Bedford and Gettysburg Pennsylvania area. There is a future trip to that area to show the wife. Scott

Hi: Old Skool... You mean to say you could buy a 5.0TA without showing your wife? Alf

Hello Alf, When I showed her Reace's photo shop picture of the future 5.0 TA she said, "That's the one!" Yikes!, I'm getting close to 300 posts. Scott
