Yes, it is an aftermarket item, Escape will not install it. Love mine, easy install.

We just took advantage of the 40% off sale and ordered an RVLock V4.0 and a keyed-alike hatch lock for $151.79. All we need now is a trailer to install them on!

Make sure you double check your order . I just got a confirmation E-Mail from RVlock saying my order was shipped . Unfortunately what they shipped and what I ordered don’t match .
I plan on returning the shipment and just going with my existing factory lock .
Not going to waste my time going back and forth .
