Saving money!

Everyone likes to save money and get their best bang for their buck right? Whether or not you like Consumer Reports, I thought you might be interested in this new article: The toilet papers that top Consumer Reports’ tests - Yahoo, especially since they talk about disintegration. That's important in Black Water Tanks!

With Americans using an average of 46 sheets of toilet paper a day
Not going to go anywhere with this tidbit, but to say, Holy Cat Crap, that is a lot of wiping.

Good article though, would have never thought of researching TP.

What is the main reason for good TP disintegration in RV toilets, as compared to home use? I do understand for septic fields, is this what a lot of RV dumps and campgrounds use? Just curious, and never knew.

I wonder if Canadians use more or less than 46 sheets of TP per day .
I've never counted and I've never been asked .
Frankly I don't care.

I'm thinking in Oregon, most of our state parks are using septic tanks (they must be as big as a football field!). I was just reading about price per piece and disintegration. Hey, I'm CHEAP... I'll admit it. I love keeping bucks in my pocket, if "similar" items give me the same useage. TP is NOT like my toothpaste which I'm "wedded to." YMMV

Over the years, do you have any idea of how many threads I've read where folks have PLUGS in their black water tanks? OMG. Too much non-disintegrating TP and not cleaning the tanks thoroughly. GROSS... when it comes to some of the solutions to remove the plug...
