Only problem I have with that aerator is that it extends the standard faucet down into the sink by quite a bit, leaving less space to the bottom of the the sink.
I think I have one somewhere in the side shed.

Sorry, no. Looks pretty much the same as the one you ordered.
I'd have a problem filling the kettle with the sink cover in place ( which I do every night to prep for coffee in the morning ).

You can always put it in your junk drawer

And, I haven't had a problem with spashing. The faucet has an aerator in it, assuming we are talking about the same taps as on my 2008.

I only mentioned the aerator, because I met a new 19' owner at the Oregon Gathering that was complaining about the facuet to drain "splash." I immediately thought about the water pressure and how "on" the faucets were turned. An aereator may solve that issue. But, really in the grand scheme of things, how much is it really a problem? At least it's clean water....

I had an issue with the water pump not working. I read the instructions and learned that the water pump operates much like a gas pump and if it senses back pressure it shuts down.
Debris caught in the aerator will cause this problem.
So, we took it apart, cleaned it out, and put it back together several times before we got it right. If the aerator wasn't positioned properly, water went every which way. So, when you do take it apart, pay attention so you can put it back together properly.

We love our flush mount sink and stove. The only issue is the standard folding tap that comes with it. It does flip up fairly tall, but a bit more would be nicer. Someday soon I plan to look for a nice replacement, though not sure how many folding taps are made.

We take along a dishpan if we need a larger sink for any reason. Heck, if we close the lid to our sink, the dishpan can sit right in the same location. We do dishes outside most of the time anyway.

Aerator installed. Cheryl loves it and is the one that wanted another ordered for the Escape. There is more room under it then it looks like in the photo because of the angle I took it at. It swivels any direction you want anyway to move it. Also has a spray or stream just by pulling on the chrome part. Makes it very easy to spray out the sink.

We've got this one:

saves water nicely when rinsing dishes but I worry about the stress on neck with the pulling down motion - so we may switch to this one::

Since Donna mentioned it, does anyone know if the stock sink has a wider drain?
