Steady on. My cousins north of you in Williamsport report that it's supposed to be in the 40's (5°C+) or even 50's (10°C+) by mid-week.

72 degrees here in Asheville, NC yesterday, just 2 hours from Townsend. Keep the faith that spring will arrive in time!

Enough already

Jim,
As one famous American said " I feel your pain". We were -8 F this AM With about 6-8 inches of snow on the ground, glued down by sleet that fell Monday or Tuesday. HOWEVER
Forecast is for Thirties tomorrow and warming to 59F next Thursday. When we are done with the heat each day we will send her East to you. It's not a Chinook but it will have to do, and is welcome. Keep the faith, probably need the air in Townsend.
Dave.

Yep. I remember my property looking like that when I lived in New Hampshire. That's the precise reason I opted to move to Florida. The closest I get to that now is when I stand near the Sno-Cone booth at the state fair.

We were in the Caribbean for most Of Feb. I have to say there was lots of compassion expressed for the folks suffering through the weather in the North East. A two day drive South must be tempting.

You have to learn to embrace winter and become one with it. Either that or go south to Florida for the winter.

We got lucky, this one missed us. Think I'll dust off the sump pump and get my wet/dry vac back from my son, when all this melts next week it's going to be a mess. Jim, is that 12" from this storm?

Yes, but it is slowing down now, but we got a wallop, a little more than 1 inch an hour.

Thor has stopped, now it is supposed to drop to single digits until the great melt down on Saturday. I hope all that snow does not slide off the roof onto the Escape, I'll be digging for months !!!!!

Another day, another snow storm. Camping season this year in New England may start the 4th of July.

Hey Jim,

When you are in Osoyoos for the rally, give Jack on Observatory Hill a call. As you know, he may have some pull with NASA and he might be able to get you on that mission to Mars.

From all reports... they don't got that stuff over there...

Larry

Gee thanks Larry, will you be returning this year? That was a great evening at Jack's place last year. The views up and down were spectacular.
