Sometimes it is nice to forget...

I found in my desk drawer this morning a whole bunch of spare parts I had ordered last year while Escape free and planning our next Escape. Ironically I was going to reorder a lot of these again this week to start some modifications to DeJaView. I now have spare clearance lights and lenses, spare color coded 12v wiring, 2 dozen micro LED red lights, 20 LED light strips (not sure if red or white), 20 "T" tap connectors for inline splicing, and an extra LED bullet down light for the exterior step light. I thought I had ordered a bunch of spares but could not find these parts in the garage or basement when looking. But this am, going through my desk, lo and behold............surprise! Now the fun begins.....

Sorry Alf, we will not make it this year, September is busy for rallies and we opted for Mississippi River and Algonac this year. We will be sending our alternate 21 although, Dick and Donna from Lancaster, Pa who ordered an exact copy of our new 21 and went out to Chilliwack and Osoyoos one day behind us are planning on attending your rally. See you next year.....

Must be a desk like no other. No pencils, no paper clips, just trailer parts. We will be at Niagara and of course the Mississippi with the tarp. People seem to enjoy it. I liked when I gave away a new jack wheel and the recipient brought an older wheel back because mine fit his “tube” just right. A few minutes later a young guy spotted the second wheel which fit his Trillium perfectly. A double swap. And no spare wheel for me. Which does not work anyway when trying to reposition a tandem axle trailer that weighs about two tons. Sanitizing my water system today, quite a few “unknowns” in the fresh water fills to Osoyoos and back.

Hi: Iowa Dave... How many bottles of Cedar Ridge does it take to "Sanitize"? Makes the "Unknowns" more palatable!!! Alf

Gives a whole new meaning to the term “water by”. Cedar Ridge, they’re doing great down there. The tariffs have messed up their overseas shipping volume so the local price came down a couple bucks. I’ll use bleach to sanitize the small Escape tank and Cedar Ridge in the big tank i carry with me.

How do you winterize that big tank there , Dave? Oh sorry, I guess you do not need to winterize if it is full of alcohol....
