Soon-to-be travelling in an Escape 5.0
Hi.
Not sure this is the right part of the forum for introductions - but it's the most logical I could find.
We're just finalizing an order for an Escape 5.0. Lots of fun!
Since retiring we've had a Trillium, then a Kamparoo, then a Winnebago Eurovan camper, and soon the Escape.
I've been reading this forum for a few days now and have found it very helpful.
So thank you all, and "Hi"...

Jim,
New owners can not be Escapees. Escapees is a nation Wide RV Club here in the States. I am a member of the Escapees RV Club not to be confused with Escape Trailer Industries. These folks will like their new Escape Trailer as much as I like mine.

I am interested in the clubs people belong to, so I will go to products to ask about Escapees mentioned here.

Some people belong to Good Sam Club. I belong to both Good Sam and the Escapees RV Club. Both have their benefits.

ie. Welcome to the unofficial club of Escape Owners, and to the elite sub-club of 5.0 owners! (although not as elite as the 13 owners...they are very elite) We love everything about Hokie, except we've encountered one big problem....we don't get to get out in her often enough!

Congratulations on your new 5.0
We love ours, and like so many, don't get out enough. I'm about a year from retiring, so we'll solve that problem soon enough.

Welcome to Escape. You will love your 5.0.
We got our 5.0 last July and love camping in it. This year we have a trip planned for every month. We don't have much down time anymore, but that's okay with us.

Hi "escape artist"...
We have an '04 Silverado Z71. Used to be a beater/hunting truck before we decided to get the 5th wheel, but now it'll get to see more than some bush roads. Sure won't be as fancy looking as your truck!
The Escape will be done mid-March, then we'll likely pick it up mid-April and head down the coast.

ooooh, if you're talking about the Pacific coast and into Oregon, try to make the Spring NOG. It's the end of April and you'd have the absolute newest trailer!
