Specifications - AC height
According to the Escape website, the Escape 19' is 8' 6" tall. Does this include the air conditioning? Has anyone built a cover and knows the height? Thanks.

From Escape trailers.
Thank you for your interest in the 19’ Escape Travel Trailer.
The Standard Height for the 19’ Escape is 8’6” if you add the AC the height increases by 5” which will bring the height to 8’ 11”.

I had a carport built to cover my trailer, so I used a ladder, 4' level and measuring tape to get the actual total height, including AC. I got 8'7", so I specified the crossmembers on the carport be 9'6" high. Plenty of clearance. Not sure why the difference from the Escape numbers -- I'd suggest you do a measurement of your rig and go from there.

We tried to measure it and we figured just what you did, that 9'6" would give plenty of clearance.

That a/c shroud looks to be more than 5", maybe a misprint, 15"? Either way, I'll get the ladder out, 9.5 feet should do it? Thanks. Your eyes are one of the first things that start fooling you as you age!!

ModJim, you're right. It looks a lot more than 5" to me.

I believe that Escape indicates that the highest clearance is 8'6" to the top of the Maxx fan and vent, the AC is an additional 5" higher.

That makes sense. I was noting that that Maxx fan is pretty high up there when open.
