Stealth Options

1.Nev -R-Adjust Dexter axles with E-Z-Lube wheel hubs. This gets you self-adjusting brakes, and wheel bearings you can squirt grease into the anytime you want without having to remove the wheels and hubs. I opted for this because there are no RV service shops within a hundred miles of my house, and this will make sure I don’t put off important maintenance items. (I WOULD NOT recommend Nev-R-Lube hubs. These require special bearing presses to remove, so if one goes bad you are stuck without a well-equipped shop handy.) The regular hub wheel bearings and E-Z Lube hubs you can still replace yourself.

2.No exterior graphics. We have received nothing but “I wish I had asked for that” comments from other Escape owners. The look is cleaner, and washing and waxing is easier. Your trailer will also look better years longer without faded and peeling decals.

My decals are ten years old and are not fading or peeling. Mine are Black Forest Green. Colours vary in how long they last.

I don't see how "washing and waxing is easier" without graphics.

Does Escape offer Nev-R-Adjust Dexter axles? I'm aware that the e-Z lube is standard.

The difference between standard and Nev-R-Adjust is entirely in the brake assembly (E-Z Lube is in the axle's spindle). Nev-R-Adjust has been discussed a few times in this forum, and while a few people have talked about changing to Nev-R-Adjust when replacing brake assemblies, I hadn't heard of anyone getting it as a "stealth" factory option until the beginning of this year:
Axel Modification.... Why Yes, Why No?
But now it does appear to be an available option which is not listed on the website.

Does ETI discount the price a little if you opt for no graphics?

Similarly to dropping the stove hood, probably N/C.
Another item is the belly band color. I went from black to white to eliminate the "black belt" look. Well that was a mistake. The white band when clean was nice, but once it got dirty, it was hard to clean as the dirt showed both on top and bottom of the band as well as the trim holding the band. I had resorted to using a knife edge around the camper twice to dig out the dirt. The black band just hides it better.....

They used to, however no more for some time now. Same with passing on a stock mattress.
